Our Annual General Meeting will be held at the National Liberal Club, 1 Whitehall Place, London, SW1A 2HE. The meeting will be held on Thursday 24th November 2016 at 1.00pm in the Lady Violet Room. We urge all shareholders to attend the meeting to hear how we are progressing towards drilling in East Namibia. Stephen Larkin CEO of Africa New Energies will present the latest news as we move towards the first stage of our drilling program: slimline drilling. He will also present our roadmap towards listing – where we seek your permission to become a Public Listed Company. Should market conditions be conducive, we are planning to list initially on the Alternative Index Market or AIM when we will spud (begin the process of drilling) our first well. This represents a significant step forward for Africa New Energies towards its long-term goals.

As we have many shareholders in London who prefer to attend an evening meeting, we will have another AGM meeting at 6.30pm in the Wine Bar Annex at the Institute of Directors on Pall Mall, London. The meeting will be from 6.30-7.30pm. There will be a buffet and you are welcome to drinks after the meeting, also in the Wine Bar Annex. We hope to see you either at the afternoon or evening presentation.

We hope you will be able to attend the afternoon or the evening Annual General Meeting. Please email marketing@ane.na to let us know you will be attending the AGM, either for the afternoon or the evening meeting.

  • Morning Stephen. All looks good for the future and I enjoy following your progress with interest. You have come a long way since we met in my parents lounge in Rondebosch back in 2005. I will continue to follow with interest as you embark on becoming a PLC. All the best. Barry van Selm.
